Fall Camping Trip!

We will be headed to Camp Laughing Waters in Schwenksville, PA. We will be staying in a heated Cabin with indoor bathroom facilities. However we will be spending much of our time outdoors, weather permitting.

This is a GREAT opportunity for first time campers, girls and adults! We have space for 26 so please sign-up fast! We will be tent camping in the spring so take advantage of the “easy life” on this trip!

The girls will be doing badge/journey/patch work, cooking meals, hiking (scavenger hunt), playing games, singing songs around the camp fire and learn about our natural world, and experience outdoor survival skills!

When? November 8th – 10th, Friday evening through Sunday afternoon
Where? Camp Laughing Waters, Schwenksville, PA (Heated Cabin)
Who? Troops 9338 and 9468
How much? Cost will be $25 per attendee to cover food, badge, and activity costs.
Why? Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. It is a long-held tradition in Girl Scouting and adds to a scout’s overall sense of life experience, maturity, self-reliance, confidence, and self-esteem. It deepens one’s sense of self and teamwork.

Please sign you and/or your girl by returning the permission slip and camp fees on Friday, November 1st or Saturday, November 2nd.

If the $25 fee is financially burdensome- please let me know!
